I desperately wanted some crab cakes; haven’t had any for a month of Sundays. Bearing in mind I am from Baltimore, once a mighty city, now one big ghetto, but still known for its crab cakes.
So I got a coupon for a frozen box of the things and said a prayer that while they’d never be as good as the real thing, they might satisfy my crab cake needs.
They were awful, tasted like fishy salmon....no lump crab meat.
What was I thinking?
The dog thought they were ok.
Are they even making them in that big ole ghetto anymore? Could be a thing of the past for Ball’more...
Head out west on Hwy 50... All those years ago when I was stationed in DC, and went to Ocean City, we’d always stop at a little place right on the East side of the Chesapeake Bay bridge that made the best crab cakes! Holly’s or something I believe.
Don’t worry. Obama will save Baltimore by forcing the rich white people to move back and “gentrify” it.
Well you make me smile AB. Indeed I do know Holly’s although I’d never suspect them as big crab cake purveyors.
In fact I only live about 30 miles from Ocean City Merryland but Holly’s is up near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, about a hundred miles westward.
However, fate would have it that I will be driving up that way for this past weekend I learn my stepfather has died.
Seems like everyone around me is dying anymore.
Anyway I will check it out. Or know what else? A big batch of steaming hard crabs could be just the ticket.
In memory of Baltimore and the great city it once was, the city in which I was born, the city I loved.

possible but I doubt it ryan, was incredibly sincere incredibly straightforward answer every question chris put to him problem is he’s not addressing the bad part of the bill which is most of it
Maybe Hillary will announce again in front of the Washington Monument on the 4th of July.
John Podesta will run around her in circles buck naked, with a lit sparkler protruding from his butt while Ms. Hillary gives her class warfare schtick.

BS. Her spokeswoman could not answer because Hillary doesn’t know yet which side she’s going to come down on. So it’s hedge and deflect until Hillary decides. It’s all political.
Remember too, Hillary admitted she made decisions in the past based on politics and NOT what she believed. It’s all a case of say anything to win regardless of her real position. Heck, she doesn’t have a position. She’s agreeable to either side depending on which one delivers votes so she can get the power and money.

And also has always felt she was really African American, Hispanic, or whatever else will get her a vote :):)
Are we going to hear more about Hillary’s mom being so incredible that we should vote for her daughter because she was exposed to a person who actually worked for a living, and, lucky for us, it may have rubbed off on Hillary-so we should vote for her? How sad that she is such a useless, unproductive person for her entire life, that she has to use her mother’s accomplishments as a reason we should vote for her...blew my mind how desperate she is...
