And where are all the Christian preachers in this nation? Why are they not yelling from the pulpits about this injustice? I guess we know which god they’ve chosen to serve.

The god of tax-exempt status.

“I don’t get it. Their actual number in society is only 2%. How are wielding this kind of power?”

It’s rather simple to understand. Our Lord, God and Savior told us what was going to happen. He even told us that when the world hates us, it would be because of His name...but to remember that it hated Him first.
There is a battle going on all around us, and even those that know this pretend like it was just some story they read.

see my tag line.

I is by no means unprecedented, but it is somewhat unusual. These complaints, at least in the Air Force, are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. If even half of what’s hyped in this article is true, his boss will answer for it or a Congressional inquiry will be filed.

Christians should not serve in the military. They should all resign en masse.
So we end up with a military full of secularists, queers and mooselimbs? No thanks.

In the memo, Fahs said that a command investigation found that Modder:

told students that homosexuality was wrong, and that the “penis was meant for the vagina and not for the anus.”

suggested that he could “save” gay people.

told a student she was “shaming herself in the eyes of God” for having premarital sex, and berated a pregnant student for becoming pregnant out of wedlock.

asked a staff member about her sexual activities and then told her that she should be in love with God and not her partner.

discriminated against students of different faiths and backgrounds.

Works for me. I’m convinced that only a total collapse and rebuild sans liberals can save America. I’d love to be wrong.

I won’t help her get elected but I won’t be remotely shocked when the right hands her 16 on a platter.

The military has become a secular-progressivist spiritual hellhole.

*****************************************

What bothers me greatly is that you hear people say “our military wouldn’t turn against the civilian population” .... the way the military is being purged and repopulated, I think the re-made military would turn on a civilian population if evil leadership ordered them to do so.

i think it’s the internet mostly. the power of social networking and all of the various popular internet sets that skew left has had a profound impact on millennials. for example, i have a yahoo mail account and i’m constantly bombarded with links to huffington post articles about all manner of leftist nonsense when i’m logging out of that account. there is no option to turn off the yahoo newsfeed. in turn, lots of people simply buckle to groupthink and go along with whatever appears to be current beliefs.

Mark Twain didn’t realize how prescient he was about today’s internet age:

“a lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” - Mark Twain

Hell I don’t care what they do in the privacy of their bedroom but we’re not gonna have it shoved in our face anymore.

This gay stuff is getting so out of hand, I'm starting to wonder if we should re-instate laws against sodomy, Lawrence v. Texas notwithstanding.

If you “buckle to groupthink” just because of some news titles you see in your email, you just might be a liberal . . .

Don’t hire them, rent to them and walk right up to the line in dealing with them without ceasing. they will move to liberal cities.

None of us have to be their friend. Shun them.

I tend to agree. It seems like the same as the chaplain who ended up with a gay/homo chaplain’s asst. who set the chaplain up by asking him if he thought the Lord approved of/ or would accept gays. He told the truth to the assistant and the fag did not like it.

On December 6, 2014, Modder’s temporary lieutenant junior grade officer and assistant[4] brought two Equal Opportunity representatives and a five-page complaint against him. The complaint was on the grounds of discrimination of sexual orientation and different standards of respect including that of pre-marital sex.

Unbeknown to Modder, his assistant was a married homosexual. Modder was later removed from duties and told to clean out his office.[5] After his commanders concluded he was “intolerant and “unable to function in the diverse and pluralistic environment” he received a “detachment for cause” letter on February 27, 2015.[6][7]

On March 9, 2015, Modder sought assistance from Liberty Institute, which wrote a letter refuting the “detachment for cause” letter on legal grounds, and requested “religious accommodation” to continue his duties as a chaplain. This request was denied March 16, 2015.[8][9]

Modder’s lawyers will appeal this ruling.[10] From March 10, 2015 to present Modder has been temporarily assigned and relocated to Naval Support Activity Charleston while facing possible discharge if brought before the Naval board of inquiry.[5][11]

On March 24, 2015 a sailor at a neighboring command unexpectedly died, Modder was going to attend and minister at the funeral when the US Navy issued a “no contact” order and banished him from the base. Liberty Institute stated “To deny Chaplain Modder of the ability to minister to a grieving family and other sailors is deplorable.”[12]

On March 30, 2015 thirty-five members of Congress expressed their support for Wes Modder by sending a letter to Navy Secretary Ray Mabus and Chief of Chaplains Rear Admiral Margaret Kibben, the same day the Restore Military Religious Freedom Coalition sent a petition containing over 100,000 individual signatures expressing their support for the Modder.[13][14]

By its defining principles, a military unit cannot be diverse.

Thanks. Since when did chaplain’s get an 0-1 for an asst.? Darn, I seem to recall the Chaplain’s at BDE level in the Army were CPT’s( a Protestant and a Catholic) and they had Spec 4’s or so for assistants.

There’s no way the NAVY has a military specialty of chaplain assistant that is at the officer level. This guy was placed in that chaplain’s office intentionally by someone under false pretenses.

Maybe I’m wrong, but no way the Navy has so many officer slots that it wastes them on a chaplain assistant slot. You are correct. In the Army and Air Force they are enlisted.

I am a preacher, a retired chaplain, and I don’t have ‘tax exempt status’. No minister does. We pay taxes just like anyone else. In fact, we pay more. We have to pay ALL of our social security...all 13% of it.
