Yep. A yes vote was a vote to circumvent the provisions of the Treaty Clause of the United States Constitution.

Cruz relies on some obscure Supreme Court case from 100 years ago to justify his clearly unconstitutional position.

He apparently is one of those guys that follows Supreme Court precedent rather than the actual wording of the constitution.

Yes. That’s the way I’m reading it. These trade agreements are skirting the Constitutional provision that the Senate advise and consent on treaties.
