CADYVILLE, N.Y. Ken Snyder refused to waste a perfect sunny afternoon and spent Thursday reseeding his lawn, despite a manhunt underway behind his home in this rural corner of upstate New York.
It wasnt a typical day of yardwork for the 70-year-old retiree. As helicopters buzzed overhead and a small army of heavily armed police lined a nearby country road, Mr. Snyder was ready if two convicted murderers who escaped from a state prison emerged from the woods backing up to his property.
Inside his garage were two phones should he need to call for help. In his laundry room was a loaded rifle with extra ammunition on the washer and dryer. Upstairs in the bedroom: another rifle.

I think you are into wasting time, and making useless posts.
No, asked you a simple question.
And you keep embarrassing yourself.
Yeah, you bought a place from a dead guy.
Not their problem. I remember a story of a guy showing up at a US entry from Canada, caked with blood, and they let him in.
He had taken a sword or the like to somebody in Canada, and the US guys didn't even bother to check with the RCMP/PP about any unexplained bloody murders they might have had on the top of their to-do list recently.
One can deduce that it was purchased from a deceased person’s estate.
Well, most likely and that indeed turned out to be the answer.
However, the guy could have returned to make some repairs or pick up some additional personal items.
It was a simple question of timelines, that didn’t require the attitude.
My guess is they’re already holed up in someone’s home. They’ve knocked off the tenants. OTOH is rough country up there, and one could probably hide for awhile, but I heard there was a pos. ID this am and the dogs also have thier scent?
True, and I prefer explanation (Mr. A could have done so.) Yet I am not a fan of pissing contests. It was poorly written. We all make mistakes.
It’s not a contest. When you post something and it doesn’t quite read clearly, then one should not be surprised if someone else asks for additional clarification.
I would think that was possible, but they would have to be lucky enough to stumble upon a family that had no ties with anyone in an area where people have close ties and would probably be checking up on each other.
Sheesh, it must be tiring being paranoid all the time.
“where does one go after a breakout?”
To Baltimore, of course. The cops there are on strike and not arresting anyone. The escapees could easily melt into a city filled with criminals. Everyone qualifies for food stamps and medicaire so food and bandages are taken care of.
Are you getting paid per post?
Good grief. Are you getting paid to beat a dead horse?
they could die of old age there lol
Canada Ping!
What anation of wimps and p*ssies we’ve become! Big deal...two guys escaped from prison. Count them! Two! I’m sure they’re bad guys but get a grip. Do we really need to have 2-3 news conferences carried on all the cable channels every day? Do we need all of upstate NY under siege? Give me a break!
OK,point taken. For this to be a national story just might be kinda silly. But it's easy to see why it might be a big *local* story. It's New York...no DP.So they can kill with impunity there. And they're very close to the Canadian border. There are several reasons why they might want to go there.
Tell that to Eric Rudolph.

They can be anywhere in the US or elsewhere in the world.
