My Congressman, Dave Brat voted against. He is a huge improvement over the weasel Eric Cantor, who would have been whipping votes for it.
More districts need to realize they have term limits in their hands.
Primary the weasels out.
He’s mine, too. I called his office this morning & thanked him for the ‘no’ vote yesterday & said keep on voting ‘no’. I don’t know about you, but I am still feeling excited about the dethroning of Cantor .... makes me smile every time I think about it. So far, no regrets about Brat. I’ve noticed he’s getting more of a “voice”, too (more interviews, people taking seriously what he’s saying & liking his economics degree).
