The very last thing liberals want is free speech. If you disagree with them on anything it is because you are a racist, bigot, homophobe, etc.
Their motto is “Free Speech for me, not for thee”

We have a generation of our version of the Hitler Youth about to take the reins of power.
True enough, but there appears to be a vacuum within the left side of the aisle where the liberals used to be, filled with shrieking, hate-filled, radical social justice warriors. One smiles in bitter mockery at the old NPR program title "All Things Considered", the irony of which is lost on its devotees. What is significant is the breadth and depth of things that simply may not be considered, or even communicated. "Hate silence" turns out to be far more oppressive than "hate speech". This is not a relatively harmless passion of youth as it is portrayed in the media. It destroys lives.
This is all bad, but the absolute WORST denial of freedom of speech is the Liberal Monopoly of every channel, every transmitter, every satellite, and virtually every other means of communicating with the American Public.
They own television. They own movies. They own Magazines.
We get nothing but endless Liberal spew masquerading as news, (and entertainment) with a little bit of information (filtered by Liberals) thrown in.
The gravest threat this nation faces is the fact that all means of communication with the public goes through Liberal Filters and conservative speech isn't allowed. (Except for occasional "Pet" conservatives.)
This is why the nation keeps moving left. They never get exposed to the other side.
It seemed to me “All Things Considered” was an overweening misrepresentation (if not a blasted lie).
I knew journalists who were proud of word tricks like that. Well it might be ENTERTAINING, but EDIFYING and INFORMATIVE it isn’t.
But... one also has to ask why it chose to depend on that to get a worldview. Obviously not everybody so chooses.
If we believe in responsibility we really ought to follow through on that belief. Yes we can hold liars responsible. But willfull gullibility has to be reproved too. That’s volunteering to be a liar, which is worse than inadvertently being one due to misinformation.
Responsibility does not come naturally to humans. That's why babies are born liberal, and have to be taught better to become conservative.
If you are waiting for naive people to decide they need to seek out better sources of news and information, you will be waiting a long time. The Default attitude of the entire population is that they will see what's on television.
Truth is the Leftnoids has never favored free speech… their coddled masses now demand NEVER to be offended… except everything offends them! We now have the new PeeCee movement “spoiledbratism”. Old Serpent smiles!
Who said wait. Nor does anything that is worth anything to God come from “social rightism” which can indeed arise from the self.
No problem. In just a few short years, there will no longer be a free society in which they will be required to function.

Glad I went to college when these types of ideas would have been soundly laughed at.
