I know I'm a bad father, but I let my 13 year old son watch "Blazing Saddles" last night. I warned him about the language, but he loved Mongo and the campfire scene.
The movie's over 40 years old and it still cracks me up.
Not only is it hilarious, but it’s also brilliant social satire. Which of course, the left just doesn’t comprehend.
I wonder what their response would be if they saw Mel Brooks’ classic, “The Producers?”
Blazing Saddles could never be made today, and we’re much the poorer for it. A Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, or Richard Pryor would be booed off the stage at nearly any college campus these days.
