Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee is continuing his vocal defense of the Duggars, stars of TLC’s top-rated reality show “19 Kids and Counting,” in the wake of the molestation scandal that has enveloped the Arkansas family.
“In every family we deal with crises, we deal with issues,” Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor, told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly on Monday. “I was just stunned and shocked that, number one, the victims were exploited in this by the media for their own purposes — there was no interest in the media to protect those girls.”

Actually in more primitive times and in countries like India, for example, brothers and sisters have sex. I think this is appauling but it common place in other parts of the world. Well, which is it playboy channel all the time or church? So extreme our society. With all the darn promiscuity out there, homosexuality, Caitlyn more....this seems totally blown out of proportion. Freaking bastards in the media are training everyone very well to fit into their way of thinking.
Men are monsters and girls so innocent? At that age they are all hormones. But as society, look at yourselves first! In the old days this would have been handled in the home. I dont watch this show at all.
Why are you trying to make it a male vs. female issue? THOSE girls were innocent, yes. Unless you think they were being too tempting, lying there in their beds.

No one is advocating youngsters touching their sisters inappropriately, but it is not a capital offense.
I met a guy recently who was beat up by some thugs and as a result is permanently injured and no longer able to work. The thugs got time served (something like 90 days) while waiting for trial and the juvenile with them got a slap on the wrist. He was in court on the same day that someone who groped an adult female in a public place got two years in prison and lifetime registration as a sex offender. Seems like we have gotten things out of balance with it comes to vaginas.
To me, an assault is an assault.
If it were 14 year old siblings fooling around, well, I don’t think that rises to the level of a crime.
A 14 year old and 4 year olds? That’s not the same thing.
