It would be hugely ironic if Roberts felt compelled to rule against the administration just to demonstrate his independence from such flagrant bullying.

Didn’t the entire Court sit there when Obama was addressing Congress once (can’t remember the exact occasion), and he insulted the Court? They didn’t do thing after that, but back him up.
