Fossil beds of many of the same kinds of creatures which died over a short span of time seem to indicate that die-offs are nothing new. Environments are constantly changing and will continue to do so. There’s not one thing we can do about it, unless we want to feed the hungry critters. I would if I could, but I can’t.
