Not so much condoning as minimizing it and saying it doesn’t matter now. Plus the accusations by the defenders are also over the top.

He was a kid just getting his hormones, and that doesnt excuse him, but who hasn’t know of a pre teen boy looking at girls at that age? When I was a kid, it was called “looking up bottoms” and boys would try to lift our dresses. Yes- that long ago when girls did wear dresses.
I’m not excusing him, but he seems like a kid who felt repressed and was curious. I also don’t know the whole story— but am looking at the first of his “confessions”.
