I find it offensive
The cartoon has no relationship to Iwo Jima. Instead, it is a play on every attempt to re-erect the fallen statue of a dictator -- e.g., Stalin, Mao, Mussolini, Hussein, etc.
Lighten up.
So many liberals on Free Republic on Saturdays. All intent on controlling how I feel.
Not even the original poster expresses a concern over changing my feelings.
