Cheer up stanne. Your perception is of value, but, most of us just did not make any connection of that political cartoon with Iwo Jima; and I’m a Vietnam era veteran. It’s all good. We do want to hear your opinions and your “perceptions” here on FR. As the newest pop culture saying goes: “Calm down and carry on.”
I took your meaning and understand, but the cartoon drives the point home, how the media hold her up - what could be more opposite from the emotions of the true event?
