“Most would leave. And far fewer would attempt to come here.”

The illegal immigration thing has been going on for too long not to have the backing of high powered interest groups on both sides that have interests counter to the American people.

The political elites apparently look at things differently than through the eyes of most Americans. Common sense could solve a lot of problems but money from special interests gets in the way. Until big money is removed from politics nothing will change. The elites can call it freedom of speech or bribery, because it always means the same thing, quid pro quo. It will further separate the priorities of our government and our elected officials from the people the longer this goes on.

Not sure what happened to him, except that perhaps some of his new friend donors turned him.

Maybe someone should ask his wife.

Kudos Mega Dittos.

Make Mark Levin assistant Media spokes person and Ted Cruz’s speech writer.

Or make Mark Levin AG if Rudy doesn’t want it, or Supreme Court Justice, with Jay A. Sekulow.

Sounds like a great plan! Can’t do better than Levin and Sekulow.

Me ?

And I make the foreign countries foot the bill for them staying here, the cost of medical, the cost of social services, and the deportation bill.

If they bulk on it I cut off all foreign aid to those counties, null and voild all trade and treaties with those countries.

Another good idea. I’m for starting the process and working out the payment details as we take them back across the border.

Set up a navel blockade of all Mexico’s major ports, and declare it a act of war of Mexico sending into our country of those illegals.

That’s why I escaped Mexifornia.

I make it my personal mission here to let everyone I meet know how illegals can ruin a state. I want to keep at least this area being like the US as long as I can.

“Those who came in the U.S. illegally will permanently be illegible for citizenship.”

That sounds right - justice. With free handouts removed and the laws enforced about employers, they will scurry back across the border.

“And the fact he would legalize those here illegally now....and increase immigration. “

Another poster said the opposite - that they’d be permanently ineligible for citizenship.

I think we need to get EXACTLY what Cruz’ stance on illegals is. Just as we need to know if Walker will flip back to being pro-amnesty. I’m not interested in being stabbed in the back by Republicans yet again. Once they are elected.

Increasing visas for legal skilled workers I can somewhat understand. Our schools have been dumbed down for a long time, and few of our students are majoring in technical areas anymore. They don’t have the background or the ability once they get to college.

The solution of courses to fix our education system, but that will take generations. At least one generation, and to huge fight to turn the schools over to conservatives. So his plan might be a temporary measure to get the economy back on track and get the skills we need to begin manufacturing again. At least I hope that’s what he’s thinking. He needs to verbalize it though. He’s not usually one to be politically correct and telling the truth about our schools shouldn’t be something he would balk on.

“Is there a single candidate who is supporting deportation?”

Romney got made fun of when he talked about self deportation. So I suppose the others know that that is a blunder.

Actually deporting the 40 million that are here is pretty unreasonable and costly. Why should we pay to remove them? As long as we take away the free handouts and their jobs, they will leave. The important thing is to take away the welfare and food stamps and free housing, and enforce existing laws punishing employers who hire them.

Oklahoma passed a really good anti-illegal immigration bill, one that was never overturned in the courts, and their illegals scurried into surrounding states. That was a very good example of how it could happen nationwide.

That’s why think this is our last election with a chance to turn it around. If a conservative is not elected, or one that stays conservative while in office, it will be time for the revolution. And if there is no revolution, we will sink into a fascist Third World country.

Great idea! I’m sure we already give all those countries so much aid. We could reduce the aid, dollar for dollar, for what it cost us to have the illegals here. I don’t think we could cut off trade, that would be cutting off our nose to spite our faces though.

I like what Oklahoma did. Maybe it should be an “All of the Above” strategy. We certainly need to deport anyone accused of breaking other laws. Why go to the expense of trying them. When they are arrested, deport them immediately. They were subject to deportation even before they committed another crime.

I want our next President to enforce immigration laws and protect our border. That hasn’t been done since Eisenhower.

For every illegal here, we should charge 1 Barrel and 1 pound of diamonds per day to the respective country. Throw in rare earths and gold where applicable. If necessary, we just go get them.

Watch people leave.

Deport? No. Shoot criminals on sight. Rapists, murderers, robbers, illegal drivers. To h* with them.

They’ll leave on their own, if they’re not dead.

They are not exclusive.

THAT'S the amnesty scam. Politicians claim they are not for amnesty because they are not for citizenship.

That's how dumb the American Republican Electorate is.

They believe that matters. When, in fact, permanent residency is just as damaging to the republic.

Cruz supporters will vote in the legal, permanent residency of at least 12mil illegal aliens and think they have voted agains "amnesty".

Just plain stupid.
