I do not watch reality shows or even modern, post 1970 sitcoms/movies, but they seem like a nice family, a nice Christian family.
They apparently dealt with this some years ago. Mike Huckabee took flack for defending this family, seems he did the right thing, ant the knee jerk reaction by others against them was very inappropriate.
We fight against Principalities and Powers, satan is real and can and will attack those that are trying to serve Christ.
Yes we are supposed to overcome because Christ has already defeated the devil, but... The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
They seem very nice, we inherit a wicked lower nature.

Thank you! I cannot believe, even here, so many people willing to trash this family. I never watched the show, and don’t really have any history on the family except what I have heard, but this notion the Christians are perfect and never fall short is just odd. Of course we do. And no one seems to understand that when this man was a child he went to his parents and confessed. He didn’t hide it, the girls had no idea of the inappropriate touching, which is all that ever happened. If he hadn’t no one would ever have known. But he did. I would be willing to bet NO young boy who bumped into a girl at that age just to feel a boob, ever confessed to his parents. It was wrong, they were his sisters, but that is no reason to ruin his OR the girls lives over it. The girls trauma is going to be caused by the illegal releases of his sealed files, not the incident.
The same media that overlooks Bill Clinton’s dealings with a convicted pedophile who flew him to some island where supposedly they had se parties with minors. The media is so corrupt. I think this looks like a very decent family that had to deal with a difficult problem. They had the courage to come clean and expose themselves to all this hate.
What amazes me is that the same media that wants to hang their son, doe not go into how corrupt the police is or that the detective investigating the son was later convicted of child pornography. These are the authorities who violated their children’s privacy by releasing the sealed records to the tabloids. It seems the system that is tasked with fixing the problem is so corrupt that it would not have helped the son at all. Maybe that is why they were very careful on how they handled this situation.
Huckabee has abandoned the Duggars and has dumped them and his defense of them from his website.
