This was my office until the summer of 2001.

I probably know some of the people in this picture.

I can't believe that I would ever say this about any Republican candidate, but should Rand Paul win the nomination, I will have a tough time choosing between him and Hillary Clinton. I would trust him to give voters and honest answer if someone asked him what color the sky was.

The NSA existed pre 911. It didn’t stop the attack. It’s powers were then broadened. Since then the NSA did not stop the Ft. Hood massacre. The NSA did not stop the Boston Bombing; and the Russians had even provided a heads up about those terrorists. Providing more and more unconstitutional power to an agency with a questionable track record has not been effective by any objective measure.

Who cares about what is "hoped for", there is no doubt in my mind that most elitists will exploit every crisis as an opportunity as fast as they wittingly can.

How may political stategerists were saying that any attack will now be blamed on Republicans because they failed to renew the Unpatriot Act? It's not a far leap to think that someone who is already attributing blame before the fact is at least subconsciously hoping for the endstate.
