There have always been twisted, tormented unhappy people. What’s new is that society encourages and enables their derangement. Bruce’s affliction is a tragedy for him and his family. The overwhelming approval of his sickness is a scary indication of where our culture is. People like Bruce used to be pitied or shunned. Now he is adored and will make millions off of his tragedy. He will continue to decline both mentally and physically and will have a shortened life span. And his multitude of accomplices will have moved on to the next cause celebre of the day.
I don't really care what turns them on, but why does the media make such a big deal out of it.
Bruce Jenner is a classic example of how steroids, excessive exercise and a perpetually warm climate lead to serious mental illness in Caucasians.
Yes, he needs treatment for his biological disorder. This disorder leaves people with a female brain and a male body, or vice versa. They never match up and the poor patient never feels right.
There is no working treatment. Poor Bruce spent 65 years trying to live as a man, and he did better than most men on being manly. Where’s your Decathalon gold medal? Hiding it was no treatment.
The only treatment we as a society offer is to give it a go as the BRAIN gender. But that only provides contentment 50% of the time. That isn’t a great healing rate.
I offer my prayers for Caitlin and hope she is in the 50%.
If you can’t pray for the most visible victim of this dysfunction, as a fellow human on our planet, then pray for a true treatment. Many kids are born with this brain sex dysfunction and the lifespan of these people is not long.
Your “kind and Christian” mocking of it is why so many kill themselves. They feel like freaks. BUT THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS. Most people with Down Syndrome are aborted. If there is ever a prenatal test for the gender dysfunction, these people will mostly be aborted too. Even if these people are Christian and conservative, like Bruce, you all will just consider them less than human, fit in our world only for rude jokes. Like people with DS 100 years ago.
Assuming you are correct, it won’t prove a thing to the movement.
It will be exploited by the movement as an example of how the culture still isn’t tolerant enough to accept and embrace people like Jenner. That it was a bigoted society and not Jenner’s inner demons that drove him to the outcome you propose.
How many recent examples do we have of the Progressive movement ruthlessly exploiting people as shining examples, then abandoning them when they’ve ceased to be useful?

I imagine I could find hundreds of examples in one or two days of research if I were to look. Definitely wouldn’t be hard to find them. The problem would be that there would be so many to sort through to develop the background stories on them because people would want to at least know a synopsis of what happened.
Caitlyn must be a really popular girls name for Trannies. We had a guy that was like 55+ go full-boat fake female. He went to the name of “Caitlyn” too.
I would think he might have tried it maybe in his Olympic training years? I don’t think it has ever been successful. But I think we should keep researching. Maybe one day it will involve a surgical procedure of the brain plus hormone therapy.

Bruce Jenner isn’t experiencing anguish or anything like it. He’s reveling, publicly, financially and proudly in his perversion and exposing our youth and our gullible morally challenged society to his perversion. He’s celebrating not agonizing.
Prayers? I think not. What Jenner needs is for someone to explain to him in graphic detail where he will spend his eternity if he doesn’t repent and avail himself of the gift Christ gave us all for our sins. A person who is comfortable in his perversion and sin, advertises and aggrandizes it is not even able to repent because they can’t fathom that they are wrong.
If any prayers are needed; it’s that he realize the condition of his perverted soul and stop practicing denial of what his Creator intended him to be. Remember? Wishing G-d speed to such a one is tantamount to partaking with them. Watch out!

Every time this abomination appears on my screen; I click off, no matter how much I might want to see other things on that show. It’s simply my miniscule revenge on a network that is promoting such garbage. It’s sad, but ratings mandate the content of the networks and this is what the public adores. Time to come out and be separate.

I don't see Laura Bush featured in every media outlet being lauded as a courageous hero and a shining role model. When she is mentioned at all, it is usually dismissively.

You prove my argument too. Hiding behind Christianity while calling him perverted. Saying that he is bad for our youth. Jesus would have sat with him and tried to understand the true anguish he had while living how YOU wanted him to live, as a man with a deep dysfunction no one else understood.
I saw his TV interview. Never knew much about him before. It was full of anguish. The one of the reasons he decided to take this so public, (plus he is not fame shy and could use the $) is because many young people have this disorder. There is a higher suicide rate with this disorder than bipolar, and that one is very high. He wanted to try and help.
We all hate the media worship of this disorder. I do as well. But this is a human being deserving of prayers.
