Sheldon Whitehouse, a Democratic Senator from Rhode Island, offered a curious suggestion for dealing with global warming skeptics - apply RICO laws and prosecute them.
So Sheldon, how much money are you & your buddies making off this global warming thingy?
It's the only reason I can think of, that would make you want to go after people who disagree with you.
And Sheldon if someone uses their position, (based on their own financial interests), to call for the prosecution of these people (or intimidate them into silence), how much time should that person get?
Now I understand people making trying to make a buck off the suckers when they can, but you want to throw folks in jail, and I can't understand that.
Martha Stewart got time for doing much less in my opinion.

Rhetorical question: Don’t senators, house members and the PRESIDENT swear an oath to “...support and defend the Constitution...?” Even junior enlisted members of our military services swear such an oath and THEY are expected to adhere to it!
