The Alarmist-in-Chief Rallies the Troops to Combat Climate Change

President Barack Obama is less than stalwart in the fight against ISIS and doesn’t seem overly concerned about Vladimir Putin’s predation in Ukraine or China’s aggression in the South China Sea. It is the fight against climate change, an allegedly dire threat to the nation’s security, that brings out his inner Churchill.

In remarks at the Coast Guard Academy commencement, Obama pledged his undying hostility to climate change and his determination to fight it on the beaches and in the fields. He called it “one of the most severe threats” we face and “an immediate risk to our national security.” President Obama is to climate change what Cato the Elder was to Carthage.

He hailed the Coast Guard for building more fuel-efficient cutters, and the Marines for deploying with portable solar panels. It was one of the most insipid calls to arms ever made by an American commander-in-chief, and there is unlikely to be much competition until President Elizabeth Warren rallies the U.S. Navy against income inequality.

From the president’s urgency, you would think that climate change is beheading American hostages and taking over large swathes of Middle Eastern countries, toward the end of establishing a hostile climate-change empire. The reality is that, even accepting his premises about the state of the science, he can point only to laughably tenuous connections between climate change and national security.

Obama cited drought as one of the causes of the Syrian civil war. Yet an article in the journal Middle Eastern Studies notes that Israel, Jordan, and Lebanon experienced drought in 2007–2008. None of them collapsed into a genocidal hellhole. Nor is drought unusual in Syria. According to the article,

“Over the last 50 years, from 1961 to 2009, Syria experienced nearly 25 years of drought, which represents over 40 percent of the period.”

when, Dear God, is enough enough?

Here is a parasitic, narcissistic enemy of America who is allowed to eat, sleep and sh*t in the White Hovel by sycophantic leftist Damnocrats and complicit Republicrats.

The monstrous central socialist government is totally out of control, our borders are porous, our now pitiful nation is full of illegals and Muslims and our Congress sits on its’ collective ass and does nothing.

Only fools believe in the junk science that has been known by a few names, but it is nothing but Gorebal Warming.

Global progressives have highjacked political nomenclature to mean whatever-the-hell they want it to mean and this push for ultimate concern over 'global climate change'/'global warming' is an all too convenient ruse for redistribution of wealth which ultimately funds global chaos and graft .

Here in the US, the current occupant of the oval office has clearly stated 'his' primary concern for this nation is "global climate change"/"global warming" leading most to simply assume he's referring to the weather.

Considering his affiliation with Bill Ayers/Dorn who were "the weather underground"...his/their nterpretation of 'weather'/'climate' may have more to do with social issues than with temperature/cloud/precipitation/tide/moon phases.

Perhaps it's time to revisit the 'progressive' interpretation of this political language as it applies to coincidental events like Ferguson, Baltimore, Philadelphia, etc.:

Severe weather? Riots, plunder, pillage, arson, murder
Rising temperatures/global warming? Social agitators, community organizers stirring trouble with violence-prone-rent-a-thug-mobs
Climate Change? Social justice in the form of anti-law enforcement, white privilege
Rising Tides/floods? Open borders, deportation recidivism, government induced hijrah
Is it merely a coincidence the ME exploded in what this administration identified as the "Arab Spring? or the "Fall" of (the hard fought for) Iraq?
IF I may quote from MC in Sderot/via Gatesofvienna:
"There is now a controlling influence in the world such as has never been before. Disparate governments move with a singleness and timing of common purpose. The international media are all singing from the same hymn sheet."
