A little late, but, thanks, fredhead, for sharing.. How long does it take to “learn” your way around a ship that big?

Not where we are but a few miles away parts were pretty bad.
The “river” outside or back deck is a flood channel — it is about 30 feet deep with grass-covered angles of about 40 degrees and flood baffles on both sides of our “river.”
IMHO highly unlikely to flood us.
But man, our “drought” infected state is getting rain big-time (27 straight days in May).
Sounds like lots of things in place to keep the water away from you. Good.
