Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, blah blah blah. Now, having gotten that obligatory sentence out of the way, if Denny Hastert is guilty of molesting a young boy, that's simply terrible. But why do Mitch McConnell and John Boehner seem to be acting as though they might also be blackmailed?
Consider how Boehner and McConnell have given in to Obama on all of the following:
1) 100% of his budget requests.
2) Fully funding Obamacare without any restraints.
3) Fully funding Obama's illegal amnesty without any restraints.
4) Raising the debt ceiling repeatedly without any restraints.
5) Effectively giving away their treaty-deciding powers.
6) Refusing to set up select committees to investigate the abuse of powers of this administration.
Their actions are not the ones of leaders of an opposing political party, unless those leaders are somehow under the thumb of Obama. Which leads to thoughts of blackmail.
Matt Drudge thinks Boehner is being blackmailed based on NSA data about an alleged affair. Furthermore, Mark Levin implied that the reason Boehner is not investigating Benghazi is because he, Mark Levin, also believes that Boehner is being blackmailed.
What do you think? Do you think their behavior might be explained by blackmail? After all, it's not as though Boehner and McConnell have exactly been fighting Obama's policies all they can...or in any substantial degree, for that matter.

In the Sixties Republican Senate Minority Leader Everett Dirksen said “Republicans and democrats have the same goals, just a different way of achieving them”. At the time I thought it was a sound bite for the press but apparently it was true. The “different way” appears to be to lie to the people, call yourself “conservative” and get elected in areas of the country that are Conservative and then work at being inept and allow democrats to achieve their goals. The gop-e and rinos have always had the same goals.

The US Constitution and all other US law, rules, regulations, treaties, Presidential proclamations and executive orders are held in trust in the US National Archives as evidence of US law. The President is the nation’s chief executive officer and responsible for maintaining evidence of law. An ineligible President breaks the chain of custody of maintaining the evidence of US law. Consequently, an ineligible President voids the US Constitution and all US law, rules, regulations, Presidential proclamations, treaties and executive orders.
An ineligible President cannot be prevented from assuming the Office of the President of the United States because the majority of American people have voted to put the ineligible President in the office. The American people voted to void the US Constitution, i.e. fundamentally change America, when they voted to install an ineligible President Obama. Obama is ineligible because he naturalized as a US citizen in 1983. Naturalized citizens are ineligible to assume the Office of the President of the United States. The Congress and the Courts are powerless to prevent Obama from fundamentally changing America. The Congress and the Courts have been fired. A new national governing document must be developed and submitted for ratification by the States. Until then, the Congress and the Courts can only maintain continuity of operations until a new national governing document is ratified.

In light of this answer I emailed the contact for that page the following.

There are two questions I would like to address, the First one is "What happens if the President-elect fails to qualify before inauguration?" And the answer is correct as it states the process described in the 20th amendment and US Code 3 Sec 19. US Code 3 describes the process of counting the electoral vote for President and Vice President during a joint session of congress.
Then a subsequent question "Who verifies if a candidate is qualified to run for President?" That answer is not very specific. You mention the Office of Federal Register at the National Archives but go on to state it is a states issue. Well in section 11 we see the first mention of the Archivist. But there are three other copies of the certificates, one set being delivered to the President of the Senate. Then is section 15 we see that two tellers from each house previously selected and are handed the certificates for opening and are dealt with in an alphabetical order. It goes on to explain and clarify the counting process.
The word qualify does not appear until section 19 when it mentions the President "elect." This is because we have determined who the President and Vice President elect are. That is the point where qualifications are to be handled. In fact section 19 describes every different situation where someone other than the President elect would assume to act as President and in each case it also declares that that person needs to be "qualified". It is mentioned "nine" times! Now how can one think that any other person or body be responsible for seeing that in these different situations involving the qualification of the President and Vice President elect, or any of the other situation listed, be handled by but Congress?

So there is the process listed. Why and when did Congress start stopping at section 15?
It takes two thirds of the states to vote to conveign a constitutional convection for the purpose of changing the constitution, not by popular vote.
