Clinton’s empty ‘old friend’ excuse on Sid Blumenthal

To hear Hillary Clinton tell it, Sidney Blumenthal was no more than an old friend trying to help out by dropping her an occasional unsolicited e-mail with advice.

And the only reason she listened, she said, was to keep from being “caught in the bubble” of hearing only from “a certain small group of people.”

Now we know better. Turns out Blumenthal was no casual correspondent: He was repeatedly plying her with dubious “intelligence” on Libya — much of which turned out to be false, but which she nonetheless passed on to State Department underlings.

In fact, we learned this week, Bill Clinton in 2009 hired Blumenthal as a $10,000-a-month full-time employee of the family “charitable” foundation — even as Sid was also working with two groups now pushing Hillary’s campaign. And “consulting” for a firm with business interests in Libya that would’ve required State approval.

Hillary actually wanted to bring Blumenthal — once termed “the most pro-Clinton writer on the planet” — on board at State.

White House officials nixed that, still furious over Sid’s role during the 2008 campaign in spreading dirt on Obama.

We have no idea what Blumenthal did to earn his foundation pay, but Hillary’s pretense that he’s ever been less than a key member of the Clinton inner circle is ludicrous.

For decades, Blumenthal has fed both Clintons dirt on their foes and helped fuel their “vast right-wing conspiracy” fantasies. Despite Hillary’s disavowal, he never left the middle of that Clinton bubble.

And Clinton — followed quickly by the rest of Team Obama — sure seized on his assurance that the attack on the Benghazi consulate was a spontaneous reaction to an anti-Islam video. (And never mind all the evidence that it was a long-planned terrorist attack.)

Hillary needs to be brought to answer a LOT of questions about the men who disappear around her, STARTING WITH VINCE. Or did Sydney come up with the rub out idea all on his own??? Right.

American Bridge and Media Matters — two Democratic groups affiliated with Clinton ally, David Brock.

Incorrect about Brock. He is a captive and slave of Hillary and her hive -- John Podesta, George Soros, the Hillbuzz girlymen. He was "turned" by the Hillbuzz bunch while he was working on a book about Hillary. The book was to be a pull-no-punches look at the former Republican groupie turned Alinskyite power junkie but came out finally as a bag of mush.

Conservatives at his former employer, American Spectator, asked Brock "what happened?" and the homosexual movement gleefully and vindictively supplied the answer by having Frank Rich out Brock in the pages of the New York Times.

Conservatives pulled away from the formerly closeted Brock, and he made his way miserably across the street to the House of Hillary-worship that is Media Matters, which was founded by Podesta and other Clintonite operatives as a Clintonista political propaganda organ and is funded by left-wing NGO's.

He has been a slave and propaganda grind there ever since.
