“I’m not here to say they could have saved Georgia because it was so aggressive, but my main aim is that she was ignored so many times and it was all because she was a teenager and it has got to stop,” Joanne told the Telegraph.

“My hope now is that she didn’t die in vain,” she said.

Sorry, dear lady, but your daughter is just another victim of the socialized medicine of which so many in your country is proud.

Unless your daughter becomes the rallying cry to abolish socialized medicine she has died in vain.

the bigger picture here is that authorities can offer "profile" against the young, against the poor, often against women...

if an elder had come in, they'd have been offered Cadillac treatment...but a young skinny pale girl?....just her menses or infatuation with boys....

here is the truth: for a few decades now, we've over treated, over prescribed, over diagnosed people and now people think the old ways should still be here....they're not....that kind of care is way more than any govt can afford, or insurance company...

we are in the days now where you won't automatically get a CT scan, or an MRI and God forbide you need two in a year....that'll send the govt into fits....

get used to it...its here...
