Exactly. I remember when I first heard the “Thousand Points of Light” nonsense and thought, this is bad news.
It amazes me that someone like President Bush can become president with so little understanding of government. I think he meant well, but he was astonishingly naive if he believed government expansions he wrought wouldn’t subsequently be used for ill.
I can’t think of many instances where government funding doesn’t come with strings attached. You want Caesar’s coin? You must do Caesar’s will.
You really do not have to hire anyone just because this man says so. When are we going to be fed up with him and get rid of him?
