Baltimore Wants American TaxPayers To Pay for the $20 Million in Riot Damages

The mayor caused most of the damage when she told the cops to stand down and give the rioters their "space" so they could rip the town apart and burn it down.

US taxpayers already pour a ton of money down that rat hole they call Baltimore. Let them learn their lesson and pay for it themselves.

$20 million is nothing to the federal government. Congress provides the president and agencies hundreds of billions in discretionary spending authority every year. One of two things will happen with this request.

1) The administration will give Baltimore the money out of one of the discretionary accounts.

2). The administration will politicize the request by demanding Congress appropriate the $20 million and likely hundreds of millions more to address problems in urban areas. Either the congressional Republicans will capitulate or they will face a public relations and media firestorm as the 2016 election gets underway. I predict capitulation.
