A $1 billion taking from the private sector that is transferred to the public sector. No services provided, no infrastructure improvement just a theft of private funds. By the way industrial firms didn't spend anything they just transferred the costs on to their customers.

Wish I could sell an unproven concept for millions and get away with it. Trouble is if it was successful it would be outlawed then taken over by the polecats.

I hear selling sand by the granule is also a lucrative racket.

California’s system is linked to the Canadian province of Quebec, which means owners of credits can use them in either jurisdiction.
So when do individual states get to establish trade treaties with foreign countries?

Higher prices today on everything the poor must buy...all for the infantile fantastical hope that the average temperature a hundred years from now will be one degree less than it would have been. This state is looney. If only the winters on the Idaho panhandle were a bit warmer...

Seems to mee all they’re really selling are excuses for polluters. If they wanna impress me, let’s see them sell a bunch to China, Russia, Mexico and all those unregulated third-world polluters fouling poor old gaia. Instead, we get stuck with all the expensive regulations in the name of government control over everything. Bastards.
