Yep. Every time a state opts out of even the possibility of a death penalty, they have cheapened the lives of their citizens.
Not black but maybe one of hussein’s illegals.
The Plant that looks sooo tiny from the Top of Sandia ?
Yeah, it looks tiny from there. The entire Intel Campus is a mile long, too. Not the buildings, mind you, but the whole campus. That's still plenty big for our area.
That would be the one. When latitudes used to serve food I would walk there have lunch and watch the police officers practice riding their motorcycles while listen to Rush.
Yep the shooter was a repeat offender and was just let out, after paying a fine. This is what our lax in law enforcement has gotten us. The perp should have been in jail a long time ago. Now, we’re going to spend millions of dollar defending this perp, and after that we’ll spend millions to keep him in jail for the rest of his life.
Look for Walter White.
I am as big a supported of due process as one will find in this wild world. That being said, due process for a cop killer needs to be radically adjusted. Ir should go to the top of every docket. Trial no later than three months after the arrest. One appeal - three additional months. Punish and this is one where I have absolutely reservations about the death penalty.
And before any jumps on that last part - my struggle is because of this
typos - grrrrrrr
“He is a repeat offender.....”
And along those lines, I was a big supporter of the concept of “three strikes, you are out” when enacted in California, after voters initiated and approved it.
It certainly should apply for violence. Assault, attempted murder, etc. Find a definition that puts these people behind bars, bread and water, hard labor, for 25 years or more.
Was Latitudes there back in 1999/2000 ?
I was over there for a Chef School around then,
Heck RR looks tiny from up there!
No it opened up in 2011. It is on the NW corner of Westside and 528. It is a nice place to have but they were over ambitious with the kitchen. Their food was good to but they tried to do too much. Hopefully they will reopen that part of their store.
It was fun sitting on the patio watching the police ride and watch traffic.
RIP.
My thoughts too. I wonder how musch slime is oozing into in ABQ to live out the Heisenberg saga.
And not one of them with Walter’s smarts.
Looks like he’s a Minnesota Twins fan.
How many police officers have already been murdered this month?
After their restaurant closed down, they opened a Taco Johns in the place (I've never seen one outside Idaho or Utah before). That closed recently and they've opened up a new place. Can't recall the name, though.
It’s too bad that a cop didn’t just shoot this piece of offal. It would have saved the county and the state a whole lot of money and no one would have wept.
