I think we’re missing the issue, which is, why do blacks kill each other in such high numbers. Sure, better policing can reduce this, but why should blacks need more policing?

My lily white neighborhood rarely sees law enforcement, yet nobody is out whacking people.

Blacks know they are their own worst enemy.....after all their neighbors all have bars on their windows and doors and it’s not to keep whitey out.

I see the phenomenon as similar to domestic abuse - it tends to run in families. Not saying it's genetic, but if you grow up in an environment that is abusive and/or violent, that is your "normal."

Same with welfare - it used to have some stigma attached, not any more.

As a country with diverse cultures, it would be odd indeed if all those cultures had the same (rather than diverse) rate of violence.
