I’ve posted it over and over, with sources from the NYTimes, WaPost, The Hill, etc.—but Walker’s rabid supporters will deny it all by claiming media bias.

He will however be a leader. Including lobbying congress and the republican house and senate leaders when he needs to.

Well, that would be refreshing...I have no doubt he will...

Then who is it you support? Rand Paul? Rick Perry? Donald Trump? Bernie Sanders?

I think she was burned out completely after 2008. I do believe her family does not want her to run.

I don’t believe she will run

I do respect Her conservatism and glad she is there on our side.

Bless her if she can improve her situation as a talking head. Some one needs to neutralize RINOs like Karl Rove.

None of them. I’d like a candidate who is better on the issue, but barring that we need to at least press Cruz and Walker for stronger positions—and promises, as much as any president keeps campaign promises, that is.

I’m fine with Walker, Cruz is first pick. But Ann has jumped the Megalodon.

Also, Walker used to say he was for legal open borders

I’ve posted it over and over, with sources from the NYTimes, WaPost, The Hill, etc.—but Walker’s rabid supporters will deny it all by claiming media bias.

Checked out several sources and you seem to have missed part of his responses...misrepresenting what he said in total

Walker never said he was for "legal open borders" where people just walk across, he said the border needs to be fixed first and much of the illegal crossing will be reduced...

The great preponderance of posts that discuss candidates argue about which candidate is most conservative or most like the poster. That is fine. Some posters discuss specific positions like American jobs which is great—why this, and economic health in general, isn’t issue number 1 for every candidate is the most bizarre aspect of 21st century US campaigns, in my opinion.

However, there is one subject that gets too little attention in these threads. How do you raise the funds to win? Where will the money come from? Nearly every candidate has to appeal to the deep pockets donors to get enough money to just put gas in the bus. If someone can combine a great conservative candidate with a plan for early fund raising, that person will have the winning formula. What can conservatives do to get the funds into the right candidate’s accounts? Social media is one avenue. How about personal contacts among the big donors—can someone do that? What about YouTube productions? Anyone know a consulting or capital firm executive?

Winning takes a plan and that includes funding, communication system, staff, and message content. All.

Ann has a bad track record with picking nominees.
I remember the huge crush she seemed to have on gov Krispy Kreem.

I like Walker too. His staffing decisions with establishment types makes me nervous though. So I’m watching him closely.

My fear is that the establishment will get enough hooks into him that if he wins he will not make the bold changes necessary to get America back on track.

I don’t see a President Cruz allowing that to happen to him. He will make the bold choices and face the wrath of the libs, the media and the GOP establishment in doing so.

Fair enough. I, for one, believe amnesty for illegals is already a done deal, and won’t be nullified by any of the Republicans, if elected, and that includes Walker and Cruz.

Walker was looking good until Coulter endorsed him.

I turned-off, and tuned-out, Ms. Coulter long ago. She was so in love with Chris Christie; she slobbered all over herself, on the Sean Hannity Show, every time Christie's name came up. Once she realized Christie was not running in 2012, she proudly proclaimed: "I LOVE MITT ROMNEY". God as my witness. I remember it like it was yesterday. IMO, this is not helpful to Scott Walker amongst those of us here who loathe RINOs and Conservative turn-coats, like Ann Coulter; after she made millions off of Conservatives with her books and public appearances. So, JUST SHUT YOUR ANOREXIC MOUTH ANNIE!!!

To all you Cruzers, why does Ted want to increase the number of H1B’s by 500%?

I’m a Curzer, and I have no idea; but, that is disturbing to me. We’ll have to wait and see as the campaign season progresses.

While it's quite true that Ann Coulter has a bad track record of picking a truly conservative candidate, she has an uncanny ability to pick the candidates in the order chosen by the RNC Establishment as Plan B; in this case, if Jeb Bush flames out. It's not a comforting thought if one is a conservative, considering the known preferences of the GOPe and their Chamber of Commerce donors.

In other words, the country isn’t being destroyed with illegal immigration.

Most likely—with citizenship to follow, that means via chain migration we’ll have almost 100 million new low-skill, majority welfare-dependent, affirmative-action indulging, Leftist voters in this country in no time.

Very sad.

But we’ve got to fight the best we can—not simply surrender. This election is probably the last chance we have to at least somewhat slow the decline.
