Good Morning
Mornin everybuddy!
Morning! Got caught up reading another thread and almost forgot to post this one!
Morning smoothsailing!
Good morning!
Our Memorial Day parade covers two towns. In the first one that town’s scout troop raised the flag...upside down! As soon as they realized it they fixed it but it was pretty bad.
In my town our troop...my oldest son and two grandsons were in the detail raising the flag. My oldest son usually raises IG but this year a leader from another troop insisted he alone raise it.
He pulled too hard and snapped the old lanyard! It went up without the bottom of the flag fastened. Oldest son then stepped in, lowered and fixed it.
Actually, they should have left it UPSIDE DOWN! It’s a sign of distress! I would say our country is definitely in distress!
I bought a new US flag and my nephew-in-law got me a Gadsden flag. When I hoisted them up, I pulled too hard and now they are stuck at the top, I guess they are staying there until I need a new flag - AND lanyard!
Good morning n’@!
Have been reading (and listening in) as I can.
Memorial Day (and late May/June busiest time where I work). College son has to be driven back to Washington County EVERY Sunday night as he is interning at the same company son in law works at. This has worked great for two reasons...we don’t have enough cars and our daughter is due in late July (and her little bro is a possible injouse babysitter if she goes into labor quickly). Youngest son is doing maintenance for school district (good job, guaranteed 40 hrs on minimum wage til public school kids go back). But that means we have three jobs and two cars and a whole lot of extra driving (just like the last two years). Sigh. Let’s just say my MegaMillions ticket didn’t work out as planned....but there’s another drawing Thursday!
Wonder if Quinn will cover the ARREST of FIFA World Cup officials overnight? I mean who should be brought to justice...ISIS murders or middle aged former soccer players who (apparently) headed the ball a few hundred times too many?
Yinz be careful out there! Bad tstorms on the way today!
Morning PaMom! DIL went to dr yesterday. Says baby has a very strong heartbeat and that, given his big sister was 8 1/2 lbs, and this is the second pregnancy, that the little guy will probably be bigger! Also, he thinks she will go sooner than August 4th, so we will both see a new grandbaby around the same time!
DIL has the same pediatrician, and the same obstetrician I had 32 years ago when son was born. They were both pretty young at the time. I really liked them both then, and she really likes them now!
Good morning! I bet you’re getting excited about the new baby.
I love the announcer who does the newsbreaks at Quinn’s station—he’s not afraid to tell it like it is!
I hang my flag upside down as well and I also fly the liberty or death Gadsden flag.
Ahh:)
Daughter (and family) were over on Sunday. Our AC is broken so definitely everyone sat (and ate) outside. She sat in one resin adorondack chairs (they slope down pretty low) and because her “bump” is so big now (much bigger than she was w/number baby girl) she slide back and had to work to scoot forward to get up. Those chairs should have warning label (lol) on them...maybe we should be giving Edgar Snyder a call :)
I was commenting about the announcer on WYSL to my husband this morning! LOL! He’s great!
Oh yes! We are so excited! I’m so glad son and wife have moved in. So far, things are going well. We all get along quite well. Of course, I try to be a good mom/mil and not interfere too much. With two kids in diapers, and one of them in casts and braces - for clubbed feet - DIL will need the extra help.
Good Morning RWI
Call me paranoid, but we’ll be ‘marked’ for our flags! Of course, in the little village where I live, everybody is pretty independent in our little piece of ‘Pennsyltucky’!
Living together in close quarters can be difficult, but it’s great that you get along so well. It will be nice seeing the kids grow up.
Good morning.
Do you listen to Quinn?
