I actually became a fan of Cricket for a while, but it was utterly beyond my capability to comprehend the rules.

I understand the rules, but dislike the game, except England losing of course. Scotland plays and is in improving, as are Ireland, but Scotland is still probably at the level of an English major club/county side.
We play in the cricket WC, but lose to the likes of Afghanistan. It will be yrs before we challenge England, India, Pakistan, NZ, Aussies, SA.....
