What the heck is ‘soccer’ and why does the US care???

We get it. You are one of the many Americans who dosent like ‘soccer’. Just as some of us equally hate baseball and ‘football’. Except we stay out of those sports threads.
Its a sport (THE global sport) increasing in US popularity.
Which I am sure cheers you up no end, lol.
It is a game where the clock NEVER stops and almost all games are completed in less than 2 hours. MLB, NFL, games can go for 3+ hours with long stretches of nothing happening. Don’t look now but viewership of the English Premier League in the U.S. is experiencing explosive growth. The lousiest teams get booted out of the top leagues for poor performance. It is on Saturday mornings. Never played a second of soccer.
