We have been using Christian Healthcare Ministries for over a year. Forcing us to switch away from a normal insurance company to a healthcare ministry is the only thing positive that Obamacare has done for us.

Obamacare never took into consideration people’s disposable income. I don’t think it was ever brought up. It was this is what you make, this is what you pay for medical insurance.

Word of advice: No one over 25 be without health insurance. So many unexpected things can happen- an accident, heart attack or broken leg. Why I was an extremely healthy person but last month I suffered a stroke and was in the hospital 2 weeks. I am unemployed but I thank God I have health insurance and it is not Obamacare either. I got insurance straight from the insurance company as an individual policy.
Bad things happen when you least expect it.
Choices have consequences. Running up student loan debt for an education she isn’t going to use. Living in one of the most expensive locations in the country. Marrying a person that doesn’t have a job. Walking away from employer insurance when she has a condition that requires multiple doctor’s visits each year.
You know what this is doing? This is going to make people who are self employed act like they are unemployed so they qualify for medicaid. Someone like this girl is going to switch to cash only business and act unemployed. That’s how the regime wants it. They want as many people as possible to be completely dependent on the government, completely sucking at the teet of the Democrap party who no doubt will throw out the usual threats “Don’t vote Republican or you will lose your medicaid”. Between the illegals, and this and keeping unemployment high as possible in the inner cities, the Democraps are all but guaranting themselves votes and the GOP just sits around twiddling it’s thumbs.
Exactly what I was thinking! Among the normal behaviors of being a responsible adult are planning, patience and compromise. Very few of us just get to do what we want all of the time. So while I empathize with what she is saying, her choices seem to be unwise. But maybe it will work out for her.
Are you on medicaid? That’s what the unemployed usually can get for free. See the thing with the Obamacare scam is it punishes people for working, that is its one and only intent. It has nothing to do with healthcare. It is Democrats punishing people for being independent or partially independent from the government. What Democrats want are for people to be unemployed so they are COMPLETELY dependent on government.
This Yoga teacher is a good example how the Obamacare scam works... She is self employed and the scam raises her health costs rates so high that she can’t afford it. So what she is probably going to do is work on a strictly cash only business, no bank account, nothing, so she can say she is unemployed and qualify for Medicaid, then like millions of other people she will be locked in at the governments teet and Democrats every election will tell her “Don’t vote Republican or you will lose your Medicaid”. THAT is the purpose of the Obamacare scam. It’s to enslave people to the government and Democrats, and the GOP just sits idly by while this is all going on twiddling their thumbs.
I can’t help her with her healthcare but I can make that position worthwhile for her.

A couple in their 20’s at the start of their careers should not have to fork out $12,500 a year for basic health insurance. Doesn’t matter where they live, that’s a LOT of money for a young couple - or a couple of any age, for that matter.
