Weather experts from around the world began convening in Geneva on Monday for a congress where Swiss Interior Minister Alain Berset emphasized the need to reduce the impact of natural disasters and climate change.
Organizers of the congress, held by the World Meteorological Organization once every four years, say it will focus on how to strengthen weather and climate services to meet the needs of a growing global population and to cope with climate variability and change, extreme weather and related shocks on all socio-economic sectors.
"To ensure sustainable development, the global community needs reliable information on the state of the climate and the changes underway at this level,” Berset said on behalf of Switzerland, host to the organization’s headquarters. “This is where WMO plays a key role, now and in the future.”

We are having “global warming.” Just as a prayerful blessing is like putting hot coals upon an evil man’s head, the increased presence of the Holy Spirit is warming things up in this world. Is this man made? In many ways yes.

The cities on Earth burn to ashes, even the stones, according to Zechariah, but the details of fire flying in a lead basket carried by flying scrolls sounds a lot more like nuclear weapons via ICBMs, so nuclear war seems to be prophesied, although nuclear war around the world is not the warming that politicians are telling us about.
I really can't express my contempt for these “Weather Alarmists.”
It's not like we don't have real battles to fight. But leave it to a bunch of Socialist/Commie?progressives to fundamentally “F” up everything in their reach that is functioning fine, while ignoring the substance of real problems.

Weather and climate services? Coping with climate variability and change, extreme weather and related shocks on all socio-economic sectors? Looks like the UN is offering their consultation services for a fee. Notice the word warming never comes out of these peoples lips anymore
Temperatures from satellites is discounted because it shows the earth cooling slightly in the last decade.
Why do they use faulty sources then? Answer: Climate Hysteria pays through research funding for more Climate Hysteria.
Note also how prior predictions failed (more hurricanes to hit the US, islands disappear, rain forests disappear, no ice at the poles, no snow in England). These are simply discounted.
Therefore IMHO: Climate Science is NOT SCIENCE ANYMORE.
