Nuclear power plant technicians, senior military officers, FBI contractors and an employee of “a highly-secretive Department of Defense agency” with a Top Secret clearance. Those are just a few of the more than 100 people with sensitive military and government connections that law enforcement is tracking because they are linked to “outlaw motorcycle gangs.”
A year before the deadly Texas shootout that killed nine people on May 17, a lengthy report by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives detailed the involvement of U.S. military personnel and government employees in outlaw motorcycle gangs, or OMGs. A copy of the report was obtained by The Intercept.
The report lays out, in almost obsessive detail, the extent to which OMG members are represented in nearly every part of the military, and in federal and local government, from police and fire departments to state utility agencies. Specific examples from the report include dozens of Defense Department contractors with Secret or Top Secret clearances; multiple FBI contractors; radiological technicians with security clearances; U.S. Department of Homeland Security employees; Army, Navy and Air Force active-duty personnel, including from the special operations force community; and police officers.

I have known people that ride motorcycles off and on for 50 years.
One guy fell over with his brand new Triumph Bonneville in late 1965, and rubbed his ear off, while damaging his brain.
Another guy got shot dead over a drug theft, around 69-70 while I was in the military, overseas. I still know his wife.
My area called SoCal is home to the Hell’s Angels, Mongols, Hessians (now defunct?), and probably others.
Today mostly in connection with my local 12 step meeting hall, I know people who ride. Affiliations and/or mutual affinities include Recovery, Christian, Veteran, etc. I understand that.
Addicts, alcoholics, criminals find new lives after leading troubled ones. I get that.
The one and only thing I do not get is excusing people who are STILL in the midst of acting badly.
It is possible to be in a Christian or veteran club, and be naïve enough to get caught in the crossfire, if you ride alongside outlaws.
It is NOT possible to be an active member of the outlaw clubs, and not know about the violence, or be responsible if it gets violent.
I personally cut the Waco law enforcement a lot of slack, if they went out that day and did their best.
They are not the reason for what went down that day.
It appears the Bandidos suckered the Cossacks and lured them. It looks like more Cossacks got killed, because the first shots fired were by Bandidos killing Cossacks.
I wouldn’t expect law enforcement and judiciary to be able to sort it all out, overnight. I would expect them to release innocent people, once they have completed their investigations thoroughly.

roamer’s post to you is interesting. You state that the authentic bikers should distance themselves from the criminals and he replies back that if he does that, he has to give up riding.

Also says that it had to be cop sharpshooters since the bikers can’t shoot that well.
He says even sharpshooters can’t shoot that good if it is pandemonium but then goes on to say that maybe the biker got the first shot but then the sharpshooters took out the bikers in the pandemonium.
