I'd like to take a moment to thank Jim Robinson for his dedication to keeping this website alive and free.

In so doing I am asking all who I've intruded upon with this giant ping to get on board in becoming a monthly donor and to contact FRiends you may have on ping lists and ask them to do the same. Think about what a steady stream of just $25 a month from the steady users here who believe in faith, family and freedom would do for furthering our interests and causes.

While I am at it; I'd like you to think about what Jim Robinson's strength and integrity means to not only what we believe in, but the foundation of this on line community.

We all know what kind of money can be made from opening a website to advertising and corporate take over. My guess is that Jim, John and their families could have become very wealthy and ridden off into the sunset long ago by ignoring their pledge and going commercial. Think, too, about the generous donors who always seem to step up with thousands of dollars to take a fundraiser over the top at just the right moment.

When you support their efforts, you are supporting your own faith and the belief that integrity matters. This of course, in addition to all the secular issues that come together to keep America free.

Is $25.00 a month too much a commitment to make in exchange for what you witness and participate in every time you click on FREE REPUBLIC?
