Very few confederate soldiers owned slaves. Of course, facts don’t get in the way of your opinions.

It was not the “second” revolution either. The first revolution was to over throw a tyrannical government. The Civil War was to resign from a tyrannical government and go their separate ways. This country would be much better off today had the confederacy been allowed to leave the union. From the loss of that war state’s rights have been slowly taken away.

Seeing as how the south dominated the government, were they trying to resign from themselves?

i believe that as well. What was preserved is now a stinking hulk of oppression: irs, regulation, land and property confiscation, globul warming, snail darter water confiscation, etc.
