Would the Times be encouraging such anti-alarmist views if disturbing events were unfolding under a Republican administration? Hell, no.

Conversely, if bad things were unfolding under a Republican administration, would conservatives be saying there's no problem? Hell, no, they'd be saying, "We need to fix this!"
