Gov. Huckabee said:

“Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, ‘inexcusable,’ but that doesn’t mean ‘unforgivable,’ ” Huckabee said in a statement posted on Facebook Friday.

“He and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authorities. No purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story.”

Sorry. No dice Huckster. The Duggar’s are on a “reality show” with TV cameras documenting and following them around constantly, even as the older girls went on dates (sorry - “courtships) and the mom and several of daughters and DIL giving birth.

And the mom and dad and all the older kids are on FB and Twitter and the like, talking about every aspect of their daily lives (well except for the molestation part).

They seek and bask in the spot light and the publicity and seem to love it when it shows them the way they want to be seen.

Now that very bad things that Josh did to his sisters have come to light they can’t say “turn off the cameras and give us some privacy”.

Just my opinion, but the fact that he molested his sisters and some other young girls is pretty sensational without any attempt to make it so. If my daughter had been his victim, he’d have a bad case of lead poisoning.
