“People make mistakes, sometimes grave mistakes. It sounds like he took steps and has sought and no doubt received Gods grace.”
And how do you have such a keen understanding of who is granted God’s Grace?
Are there any other child rapists that you think should have God’s grace?
So, the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross doesn’t extend to those whose sin you deem too sinful for God’s grace? You want to stand before Christ and tell Him His sacrifice wasn’t enough for a repentant sinner, regardless of the nature of the sin? You’re braver than I am.
It's what happens when you begin reading and studying and applying the Bible.

All of them are entitled to it.
His relationship with Jesus is unknown to me. His legal culpability is at this point in time gone. You don’t know that it was rape btw. What was called playing doctor when I was growing up in the 50s is not sexual molestation.
This guy did a very bad thing when he was a teenage kid - there’s no diminishing this. There is, however, absolutely nothing to suggest he had sex with or raped anyone. That is something you are making up. No one is deserving of God’s Grace - it is a gift he offers that we can accept or reject.
Your comments are very disturbing. From what we know now about present situation, between the two of you, you are now the one with the serious issues.
