Being curious is not necessarily being aroused. He was on a bad path which would have resulted in a very bad ending had it continued.
His father had a serious chat with him and it seemed to stop at that point. This is part of my consideration, whether or not he stopped at the point of that conversation.
Unless there is evidence that he continued, in which case I do not sympathize with him being dropped into the deepest hole, he needs to be considered as having repented.
Pedophiles can repent. Most do at some point.
Believeably is another matter entirely.
Crime stats bely the sincerity of the repentance of pedos.
Dropped in a hole? Unproductive.
Never allowed to be around small children again? Yup. Feel for his wife. She’ll never be certain he hasn’t done things to their daughters.
And ‘being curious’ is something a 5yr old boy would do to their 4yr old sister while playing doctor.
A 14yr old fondling their 4yr old sister while she sits on his lap being read to isn’t ‘curious’. It’s pathological.
