The Bible is very clear that once the offender has been dealt with, however he has been dealt with, none of us have a right to continually punish him.

He is allowed to carry on his life at that point as if he has committed no offense.

So we should just let all the murderers who say they're sorry out of jail, right?

Have the murderers finished the sentence they were sentenced to?

If so, yes. That is what you need to do, if we are to have a justice system based on Biblical guidelines.

If not, why would you let them out if they haven’t finished their sentence?
