[[Since the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate intrastate environmental issues, why are state lawmakers seemingly remaining silent about the federal government’s unconstitutional inteference in state environmental affairs?]]

Because they are lusting after the kickbacks and federal goodies coming their way for complying- plain and simple

It is NO longer a government by the people for the people- it is a government by the left, for themselves and no one else- period! The whoel ‘man-caused’ climate change nonsense could have been stopped in it’s tracks with scientific FACTS long ago- but BOTH parties did absolutely nothing to stop it and why? Because they are lusting after the power and money it gives them-

BOTH sides ARE corrupt- allowing this _resident to get away with one unconstitutional law after another

[[who will then get the reward for turning around the economy destroyed by Obama.]]

Don’t count on it- the left WILL take credit for ANY improvement claiming it was their policies that helped ‘pave the way’ for the improvements and they will accuse the republicans of trying to capitalize on their ‘success’- and the MSM will back their lies up 100%

[[Or is impeachment the only option if Congress doesn’t like a “regulation”? ]]

In order for their to be impeachment- you would need to find many republicans with a backbone, who take their oath to WE the people seriously-

in other words, an impeachment is NOT possible

"Because they are lusting after the kickbacks and federal goodies coming their way for complying- plain and simple"

While I appreciate your comment, please consider the following previously posted stuff in case you missed it.

First, there would probably be no kickbacks if the 17th Amendment (17A) had never been ratified. More about 17A shortly.

Next, consider that Supreme Court has historically clarified that Congress is prohibited from appropriating taxes in the name of state power issues, essentially any issue which Congress cannot justify under its Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

So the federal kickbacks that low-information state officials are probably getting to allow the feds to unconstitutionally interfere with state issues are arguably state revenues that the corrupt feds have stolen from the states in the form of unconstitutional federal taxes.

Are we having fun yet?

Getting back to the 17th Amendment, not only had the Founding States established the federal Senate, but they had given the power to vote for senators uniquely to state lawmakers. This is partly so that senators could protect their respective states by killing unconstitutional appropriations bill which not only stole state powers, but also stole state revenues associated with those powers.

But as a consequence of 17A, low-information voters go home after voting for their favorite senators and watch football, clueless about the major constitutional problem that their corrupt senators are working in cahoots with the corrupt House to pass unconstitutional bills, such as regulations for intrastate environmental protections, which fund the unconstitutional EPA.

And what’s even worse is that corrupt senators then confirm actist justices who declare the unconstitutional laws that the corrupt Senate helped to pass to be constitutional.

What a racket!

The 17th Amendment needs to disappear along with a bunch of corrupt senators and activist justices.
