Not the military of a few years ago.

But today’s military.....purged of patriots who swore an oath to defend the constitution........stuffed with homosexuals and feminists......who threaten to fire generals who still admit their Christian faith? Who take marching orders from the department of homeland security?

Yeah. I will happily and accurately compare that military to the SS.

I am saying what the founders thought: we should not want a central government military involved in domestic matters.

The 2nd and 3rd amendments were passed, in part, because of such concerns.

Those concerns should still be part of our thinking, because the dangers of tyranny have not disappeared.

ALL military can be compared to those units. In every army there is a subset of members who will act just as they are told - however distasteful we might think that to be. Some of that group has risen to the highest ranks and have control over enough of the group to affect the behavior of those who do not fit the description of the “subset”.

If it comes down to an order from the president for the army to engage the citizens, it will go out to one of the more indoctrinated groups. Then the rest of the army will have to decide which side they’re on and, unlike when I was in the service, soldiers on base are unarmed until the order is given to unlock the armories. Those members who have already obeyed the illegal directive will already be armed and can decide who else will be permitted to carry arms.

This has already been planned out long ago. That’s why there have been occasions reported of Base Commanders requiring lists of officers and enlisted who own personal weapons. The better to gather them up, my dear.
