Walker is not my first choice either, but I'm not going to go on his threads and trash him, I find him to be a respectable candidate I could support.
Vetting is okay, but I am genuinely ashamed of Cruz supporters who come on to Walker threads in an attempt to discredit him for one bad statement or nuance.
I feel the same when his supporters come on to the Cruz threads.
I believe Sen. Sessions would support either of them unreservedly.
Ok, he’s won my vote.
I also notice, upfront and personal, his voice was a bit lower - it occasionally went up high but for the most part it went low. He needs to work on improving that.
At this point, I would support either as well. But it is important to point out odd actions not in-keeping with a candidate's character.
I like it! It shows his willingness to give it right back to those who are OBVIOUSLY working towards an agenda!
Ask a relevant question and I will answer, but hypothetical look-backs and setup “gotcha” questions are NOT going to solve the problems in America!
Awesome! Cruz tha man!
Did anyone see that pathetic Bernie Goldberg on O’Reilly last night? He really has a bad opinion on probably 85% of the FOX News viewers. It was really disgusting. He was commenting on this interview Cruz did.
A long time ago Christopher Hitchens described Bernie Goldberg as “hapless”, which was a good description.
He also seems to be “-less” a few other things I can think of.
Never play along with the "Gotcha" game from opponents and never automatically accept the premise of the question(s)
Who was the reporter? I would like to know the name....
These local kids, fresh from the university, are often the network “journalists” of tomorrow. Encouraged by their culture to be rude to conservatives, they often have no sense or knowledge of history, economics, or the source documents of our nation’s founding.
Remember the Boston reporter who tried to play a game of “gotcha” with Dubya when the 2000 campaign was happening, asking if he knew the names of the heads of state of a bunch of countries? Childish.
Same with this kid.
Ted handled him in a superb manner.
He is the only candidate able and willing to turn the tables on these type of gotcha questions. The problem is the media, ESPECIALLY the fresh faced newly hired journo-types which are on local news but also older local ones, DO NOT know about the world situation other than what they are told and do not understand. They are just talkers, readers and self-righteous sometimes. He was right to call him on reading from MSNBC list of questions. Great job.
I can’t watch the Ted Baxter Show - he’s so intellectually inconsistent. Bernie is good on some things, but he’s a conventional wisdom guy. Too bad he muffed on Cruz, but not surprising.
All of these “journalists” are trying to “Tod Akin” Cruz, and I think Ted knows it.
I hope Cruz has good security because the she-devil thinks nothing of having people k1ll3d.
It is so refreshing hearing conservatives.
Contrast with how Obama answers questions with stuttering, stammering, “uhs” “duhs” and sounding like the idiot that he really is. YET the media still love sniffing Obama’s shorts proclaiming his genius.
AMEN! I am tired of the conservative circular firing squad and many here on FR are too quick to participate. We have a pretty good field of conservative candidates. Vent your animosity towards the Left and Hillary. We need to stop pooping in our own teepee. Some folks just don’t get it.
Good job. I agreed with every answer.
