Where I live I see a county cop go down the street maybe once a month...if that. I know many of my neighbors, like me, have guns in our homes. What stops me and my neighbors from going crazy and just start shooting each other over trivial infractions? The fact that we don't think shooting each other is a good way to solve disputes for one thing.

So why do so many residents of big cities "solve" their problems by shooting their neighbors? Can't quite figure it out. When there are no cops around, the amounts of shootings and other types of violence seems to increase in the big cities. Someone explain that to me.

I have a theory on this. First of all you are looking at the problem from your perspective, you and your neighbors have the freedom to move if there is a problem in your neighborhood. Now picture living on the democrat plantation: the government picks your housing, picks your children’s school, tells you what to eat, you are powerless over your own destiny. (By choice) You live surrounded by people in the same boat every day, day in and day out. If someone robs you and you report it you are a snitch and shunned, if you don’t report you are a pussy and they and others will return for more. You can’t move away, can’t change schools you must see these same criminals every day, at your home, the store and around the hood. Don’t forget you don’t even get the relief of going to work. What can you do? Stay and take it or try to retain some dignity and take matters into your own hands and gain respect. Supply and demand will make guns whether illegal or not available at whatever the market will bear.
