Aging Rappers Endorse Hillary Clinton (50 Cent, Ja Rule, Snoop Dogg, Waka Flocka Flame)

50 Cent is all in for Hillary Clinton, joining a growing list of rappers backing the Democratic candidate for the White House. “It’s Hillary time!” the Grammy winner told The Daily Beast in a recent interview.

He initially backed Clinton in 2007 but switched to Barack Obama after the presidential candidate delivered a speech on race relations in America. “I also think Hillary was the president already once. You know what I’m sayin’?” 50 Cent said, referencing her marriage to former President Bill Clinton. “Some of the things she says feel really comfortable, and roll off. When people are really close with each other, they use each other as soundboards because they’re the other person’s best friend.” The rapper, whose original name is Curtis James Jackson III, also praised her role as first lady in supporting the president during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

“It made that love between her and Bill real to me,” he added. “When you make other people feel different because of what they’ve conditioned themselves to feel about the subject, it made me look at her and think she’s made life choices that she’s willing to stand by — and in a place where people would do what they felt like other people would expect them to do, instead of going on their feelings. It’s so public that it can allow the perception of it to sway which way you can go.” Clinton has been racking up endorsements lately from prominent hip-hop artists of a certain age, like Snoop Dogg and Ja Rule. In an appearance on Bravo earlier this week, Snoop Dogg said it’s time for a woman’s perspective in the White House. “And just to have a woman speaking from a global perspective as far as representing America, I’d love to see that. So I’ll be voting Mrs. Clinton,” he said.

Ja Rule made his endorsement official earlier this month on Fox Business, though he also had good things to say about Jeb Bush. “I also think Jeb is a good candidate as well,” he said. “But, you know, I don’t — I’m a Democrat, so yeah, so I would vote Hillary.” Waka Flocka Flame is also throwing his support behind Clinton, despite the fact that he has announced a campaign of his own, not to mention that he is only 28 years old and is thus constitutionally ineligible. “I’ve seen my momma raise five boys — that’s super hard, so women can do the same s—t that men could do,” he told MTV last month.

Perhaps Mr. Jackson can join Nickelback and become 45 Cent.

Everyone knows that Hillary will get the convicted felon vote. Maybe they will all write songs about them and their hoes, selling drugs and killing cops on their way to vote for Hillary.

You think he's stupid. I think he's evil. To quote another very famous and popular American (and please tell me, is she "stupid" or "evil"?)..., "... at this point, what difference does it make!!?"

We already knew that she had the talentless idiot constituency all sewn up.

that was good :)

again we will have to battle a massive turnout by blacks who work one day every four years. Then get paid the rest of the time for being home.

Rapper 'Ludacris'

Lyrics to Ludacris' Obama rap song, "Obama Is Here":

"Hey... I'm back on it

like I just signed my record deal, yeah the best is here

The Bentley Coupe paint is drippin wet, it got sex appeal

Never shoulda hated, you never shoulda doubted him

With a slot in the President's iPod, Obama shouted him

Said I handled my biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers

Well give Luda a special pardon if I'm ever in the slammer

Better yet put me in office, make me a Vice President

Hillary hated on you so that bitch is irrelevant

Now Jesse talkin slick and apologizin for WHAT~?!

If you said it then you MEANT it how you want it, head or gut

And all you other politicians tryin to hate on my man

Watch us win majority vote in every STATE on my man

You cain't stop what's 'bout to happen, we 'bout to make history

The first black President it's destined and it's meant to be

The threats ain't fazin us, the nooses or the jokes

Get off your ass black people it's time to get out and vote

Paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified

McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed

Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped

Ball up all of his speeches and just throw 'em like candy wraps

Cause what you talkin I hear nothin even relevant

And you the worst of all 43 Presidents

Get out and vote, or the end'll be near

And the world is ready for change cause Obama is here

YEAHHH! Cause Obama is here

The world is ready for change cause Obama is here

Yeahhhh, cause Obama is here

Say world is ready for change cause Obama is here

Hey!
