Those pint-sized radical feminists also known as the Girl Scouts are in trouble again — this time for their transgender-inclusion policy — and they’ve wasted no time in shutting down the haters. Though the national organization has formally accepted transgender girls into its ranks since 2012, it seems one conservative organization has either just heard the news or has been stewing about it ever since.
“A new Girl Scouts of America (GSA) policy states it will extend membership to boys who identify as girls,” notes the website of the American Family Association, a Christian-morals organization that’s been labeled an anti-LGBT hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. “This means girls in the organization will be forced to recognize and accept transgenderism as a normal lifestyle. Boys in skirts, boys in make-up and boys in tents will become a part of the program. This change will put young innocent girls at risk.” The AFA then invites people to join the 38,000 who have so far signed its petition against the Girl Scouts’ policy.
The Girl Scouts, meanwhile, were quick to fire back in this latest chapter of its transgender-policy saga. “Girl Scouts has valued and supported all girls since our inception in 1912. There is not one type of girl. Every girl’s sense of self, path to it, and how she is supported is unique,” wrote developmental psychologist and Girl Scouts’ “chief girl expert” Andrea Bastiani Archibald on the GSA blog. “If a girl is recognized by her family, school and community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe.

I agree that you should NOT discuss any of these issues with children other than your own.
But, if there is a parent there (which I’d like to think there would be) perhaps you could share your feelings with them, in a low key way, of course.
I bet there are plenty of parents with girls in this program that have no idea what is going on.
But I’ll add this, when I left the girl scouts (40+ years ago) my wild Irish Grandmother shook my hand an congratulated me for “finally” leaving that dreadful “quasi-military” organization.
I’ve been horrified and surprised by how many “transgender women” (men who say they are women) retain the sexual attraction to women.
And then demand to use the women’s bathroom.
The Girl Sodomites and Boy Sodomites of America should be so ashamed of themselves. I campaign against buying anything from either group.

The only girl that lives in our cul de sac used to belong to Girl Scouts. Two years ago I spoke with her parents and told them why I would no longer be buying any cookies and why I no longer supported Girl Scouts. Shortly after that her parents withdrew her from the program.
Whenever I see a group of them selling cookies at our local shopping area I just say no thank you but do talk privately to one of the adults who is there with them about why I no longer support their program. Anything you send to Headquarters will just go to the round file. You may want to try to engage any of the local leaders in a one-on-one discussion. IMO, it’s going to have to be a bottom up approach if it is to have any impact.

LOL. That was my first thought. But I couldn’t say it with that much humor.
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, once fine old, traditional organizations have been totally taken over by the liberals from top to bottom. They will destroy it all. I’d like to see the membership 5 years from now. Boy Scouts will be full of gay members and gay leaders and the girl scouts will be all lesbo. My grandchildren won’t even know what the organizations were. So sad. Liberals ruin everything good and American.
