1,000 weapons recovered at Waco biker brawl? Not quite, cops now say

Police in Waco, Texas, have sharply revised downward the number of weapons seized after a deadly brawl in a shopping center parking lot that left nine people dead, 18 wounded and 177 facing criminal charges of engaging in an organized criminal activity..

Police said earlier this week they expected to recover 1,000 weapons but now put the number at about 320.

Snip-- The weapons recovered include 118 handguns, 157 knives and 43 others, which includes brass knuckles and chains. Some weapons had been quickly stashed -- under seat cushions and even in a toilet. Police also said an AK-47 assault rifle was recovered.

Swanton blamed the complexity of the crime scene for some of the confusion about the number of weapons.

On Sunday, members of five motorcycle gangs met at the Twin Peaks restaurant in a shopping center in Waco for what participants have said was a previously scheduled meeting to discuss common issues, such as pending motorcycle safety legislation.

Then there was also the FBI bulletin that said the Bandidos want to knock off the Cossacks. That only adds to the legitimacy of what the police were trying to do.

Right. Because the FBI has been so trustworthy over the last 25 years...

“Meanwhile, the “non-Associated” bikers like the Veterans, or the Christian Bikers group, are still being held on million dollar bonds. “ What were they doing at a gang meeting?

Maybe some of the Christian bikers used to be gang members until someone talked to them about Christ and now they are doing the same?

Fact: The ‘meeting’ was hosted by the Texas Coalition of Clubs and Independents which is run by the Bandidos. They were there not to discuss new motorcycle laws but to settle turf issues.

As reported by whom?

“Biker clubs are not to be confused with gangs lile the Crips, bloods....or whatever..”

I am confused here.

Are the Hell’s Angels and Bandidos clubs or gangs?

As reported by the Texas Coalition of Clubs and Independents on their website.

yes, in any confederation meet of bikers, golfers, bridge players, Bowlers, there are issues like logos, uniforms, media events etc, which have to be ironed out from time to time.

This would always be one of many issues at a group meet...

So you think bikers don’t have that right to manage their affairs????

I guess not...lol....

“But you don’t have the right to label good citizens as being all criminals without being challenged by me.”

Since I have NOT labeled good citizens as criminals, you have no reason to challenge me on that point.

"Biker clubs are not to be confused with gangs lile the Crips, bloods....or whatever..

Most clubs are absolutely legit.(non criminal)"

You are attributing something to me that I have never talked about. I have made it absolutely clear everytime I have talked about this subject that I'm speaking about those gangs that the FBI has referred to as OMGs or Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. I have never lumped them in with the Patriot Riders or some other Motorcylce club that is not on the FBIs list. Do not try to confuse the issue. I have no problem with these other motorcycle clubs. The OMGs self identify by the patches on their vests and the FBI has a list of who they are. The OMGs are exactly like the bloods, cripts etc. It is you who are ignorant about it.

Nice straw man. I have seen plenty of groups of bikers who simply wore leather riding jackets, minus all the gang regalia.

...”why the severe overcharging, and the million-dollar bonds”.....

In order to hold them while they investigate the numbers arrested...and get the really bad guys arrested and booked.

"Right. Because the FBI has been so trustworthy over the last 25 years... "

Looks like they were trustworthy about this incident. From eyewitnesses other than the FBI we know the biker gang got into a fight with knives, chains, guns etc...

Of +/-32 Officer positions in The Texas CONFEDERATION (not Coalition) of Clubs and Independents, four are held by Bandidos.

That hardly qualifies as the Bandidos “running” the Texas COC.

Then there was also the FBI bulletin that said the Bandidos want to knock off the Cossacks. That only adds to the legitimacy of what the police were trying to do.

Well, it worked out pretty well for the Bandidos, then, because 8 of the 9 killed were reported to have been Cossacks.

“So you think bikers don’t have that right to manage their affairs????”

I guess if you want to let the Banditos dictate to you where you ride and what you wear, you can.

But if you want to join in with their riots in public community areas, I don’t think you have that right.

Please point me to one or more of those eyewitness accounts. I’ve been looking for them for days.

Other than FBI or Waco police, please...

Bandanas with skulls, wallet chains, riding jackets with a prominent patch of a centaur, The name of their club stretched across the top, a patch (which thanks to recent events I now know is a “rocker”) with “Juarez MX” along the bottom. They also have various other patches proclaiming statuses in the club. Grizzled beards and long hair. Basically the exact same look as every Cossack and Bandido photo from Waco.

That’s it! You’ve found the answer!

The entire incident was a giant conspiracy by the Bandidos to get the police do their dirty work for them.

A brilliant move on their part, wouldn’t you say?

;-)
