It was very hard for me to admit, but I finally have come to terms with it: our Constitution has failed as a guarantor of individual liberties. Perhaps it should have been amended more often to limit the central government, but it wasn't, and now the Constitution is ignored with impunity at the Federal, state, and local levels.

We must face facts: the Constitution did not stop tyranny.

We the People should have stopped it, but we didn't.

Tyranny has arrived. No doubt about that. The Democrat Party’s mantra of “The Constitution doesn’t matter” has sunk in with far too many Americans.

Every time I hear or read a liberal mocking the Constitution, I get ill.

Yep. The Constitution alone proved to not be enough. It had to be backed with a strong and moral people. We’re neither anymore. Our society, our culture, and our people have become the exact opposite. We’ve become weak and immoral.
